The 13th match of Tata IPL 2023 played between Kolkata Knight Riders and the hosts Gujarat Titans is over and KKR surprised the hosts courtesy of Rinku Singh’s blitz. yes, you read it right, Rinku Singh has won it for KKR in front of a semi packed crowd at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

After winning the toss, GT’s stand-in skipper Rashid Khan opted to bat. His decision was spot on as Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill gave GT a stable start and afterwards it was Sai Sudarshan and Vijay Shankar’s fifties which helped Gujarat Titans post a solid 204-4 on the board at the completion of 20 overs. In reply, courtesy of a last over blitz from Aligarh born lad Rinku Singh, KKR chased down the target on the very last ball of the winnings. Rinku’s unbeaten 48 off 21 deliveries was obnoxious and helped him bag the Man of the Match award.

RR vs DC: Rinku Singh’s courage took down GT
