The second qualifier of Tata IPL 2023 is upon us. Gujarat Titans and Mumbai Indians are up against each other to book a place for the finals against Chennai Super Kings on May 28. Ahead of the game, GT has made two changes to their eleven with one of the changes being the omission of Dasun Shanaka.
Gujarat Titans have made a change to their eleven for the IPL 2023 second qualifier GT vs MI match. Titans have replaced the Sri Lankan white-ball skipper Dasun Shanaka with the Irish left-arm seamer Joshua Little. The match started after a rain delay and the change seems to be a tactical one depending on the surface. Currently, Little is among the substitutes and will play in the second innings when GT will be bowling. Here’s what Pandya said at the toss,
“We would have bowled as well, but it’s okay. Knockouts and qualifiers are fun, you have to be on your A game. It’s important to enjoy. If we can play our everything, we’ll be satisfied irrespective of the result. I know how the crowd is going to support us. Gujarati people are loyal. (Will you bowl?) Yeah, full throttle. Two changes. Josh Little and Sai Sudharsan come in for Shanaka and Nalkande.”
