Group A: India, Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka

Group B: South Africa, West Indies, England, Bangladesh, Scotland

India has been placed in Group A, alongside defending champions Australia, arch-rivals Pakistan, New Zealand, and Asia Cup winners Sri Lanka. The Indian team, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, will kick off their campaign on October 4 against New Zealand. However, the most anticipated match in the group stage will undoubtedly be the clash between India and Pakistan on October 6 at the Dubai Stadium. Sri Lanka and Scotland earned their spots in the tournament through the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier, held earlier this year.

Ahead of the main tournament, 10 warm-up matches are scheduled from September 28 to October 1, giving teams a chance to fine-tune their strategies and adapt to the conditions in the U.A.E.
