The mini auctions ahead of the 19th edition of the Tata IPL is all set to take place on December 16 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. BCCI announced the same on November 15, which was also the last date of the trade window to close, and all ten teams submitted their list of retained players. Ahead of the IPL 2026 auctions, an accumulated purse of INR 237.5 Cr will be spent by all 10 teams combined.

The 5-time champions have retained 16 players ahead of the IPL 2026 Auctions, including Sanju Samson, who has been traded in from Rajasthan Royals.
