The stature of SA20 is reaching monumental heights season after season. The premier T20 franchise league of South Africa is back with its 4th edition, and it’s all set to get underway on December 26. Six teams—Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Pretoria Capitals, Durban Super Giants, MI Cape Town, Paarl Royals, and Jo’Burg Super Kings—will be colliding over the next month in high-intensity battles featuring 30 group games followed by the playoffs to be crowned as the next champion of SA20. The Sunrisers Eastern Cape has been the most successful team in SA20 history. They have won the title twice, in the 2023 and 2024 editions. MI Cape Town are the defending champions, having won the title in the 2025 edition. The other four teams are yet to win SA20.
