After a year’s break, the premier franchise league of Sri Lanka, i.e., the Lanka Premier League (LPL 2026), is all set to return to the cricketing calendar. The tournament is returning with its sixth season to its familiar mid-year window. This season was originally set to take place at the end of 2025, but SLC decided to skip it.
