The Hundred is back with its sixth edition. The premier English franchise tournament is back with the 2026 season, which has been revamped with some new owners. England’s 100-ball franchise competition, running from July 21 to August 16, 2026, introduced major changes, including the first-ever player auction, relaxed overseas-player rules, and three rebranded teams, while retaining its fast-paced 100-ball format designed for family-friendly cricket.
Check out the full schedule of the men’s Hundred 2026. The tournament will comprise 32 league games and two knockouts, namely the Eliminator and the Final. The final will be played on Sunday, August 16, with the venue yet to be decided.
A total of 8 teams will be competing in an almost month-long tournament. Three of the 8 teams have undergone a name change along with the change in ownership, whereas the Southern Brave has also changed ownership but not its name.

The inaugural season of the men’s Hundred, held back in 2021, was won by the Southern Brave. They defeated the Birmingham Phoenix in an epic contest by 32 runs. Trent Rockets became the champions of the following season, winning the final against Manchester Originals by 2 wickets. The next three seasons witnessed the dominance of Oval Invincibles, who completed a hat trick of title wins.
