WI vs ENG Halaplay Prediction | Windies vs England 4th ODI Match Preview | Team News & Fantasy Team
After the third ODI of the series was washed away by rain, the fourth match cannot come sooner for both the teams. The second ODI of the series had seen the hosts draw the series level with a great performance. Windies bowlers nullified the batting strength of England to get a win against the best team in the ODI format.
Match Details:
Venue – National Cricket Stadium, St. George’s, Granada
Date & TIme – 27th Feb | 07:00 PM IST
With the series tied up at 1-1, the penultimate match of the series becomes a very crucial one. England roared back from test series defeat with an impressive opening ODI match win. However, the hosts were quick to mend their ways and land a huge blow onto the recovering visitors. Both the teams will seek to win the 4th ODI to have a lead going into the final match.
The 5 match series is definitely a good test for England and Windies before the World Cup in the summer. Windies must be overwhelmed with the quality performances they have seen from their youngsters. England, on the other hand, showcased why they are one of the best batting sides in the world after successfully chasing a humongous target of 360 in the first ODI.
Meanwhile, England are sweating on the fitness of Ben Stokes. The team is, however, optimistic that the player will return to full fitness before the game. Head coach Trevor Bayliss said, ” It’s one of those things, he could have batted and fielded today. He said he could feel his ankle a little bit warming up to bowl. We took a conservative approach today and decided not to chance making it worse. I’d be surprised if he’s not right for Wednesday.”
Whichever team wins the fourth ODI will have the chance of winning the series as the loser can only then tie it in the last match.
