Gilchrist calls Indian player ‘legend’; posts picture

Former Australia cricketer Adam Gilchrist has posted a picture with Indian skipper Virat Kohli on Instagram and has called the Indian cricketer a legend.

 

Gilchrist captures a picture with Virat Kohli 

The former wicket-keeper batsman interviewed Virat for FOX Cricket – which is also the official broadcaster of the series in Australia. Before the interview, Gilchrist captured a picture with the Indian batsman and posted it on Instagram with the caption, “Had a little sit down with this legend today. Thoughtful, insightful, awesome self-belief and simply a pleasure to spend time with. Thanks @virat.kohli I owe you dinner! Interview coming soon on @foxcricket #cricket #AUSvIND.”

The legendary wicket-keeper also visited the Indian team during their training session at Brisbane and had a discussion with the Indian batsman.

 

Virat in tremendous form 

During the upcoming series between Australia and India, all eyes are on the Indian skipper Virat Kohli as he is in tremendous form. The right-hand batsman hammered three back-to-back centuries in the recently concluded five-match ODI series against Windies.

He has been prolific in all forms of the game in 2018 and is currently ranked number one in the ICC ODI batting rankings.

India will be playing three T20Is, four Tests and three ODIs against Australia. The Test series starts from December 06 while the T20I series will start from November 21st.

 

Tim Cahill too catches up with Indian skipper 

Australian football player Tim Cahill too met the Indian captain and he also couldn’t resist himself from capturing this moment and uploading it from Instagram.

He posted his picture with Kohli and wrote, “Pleasure to catch up with you brother @virat.kohli 🙌🏽⚽️🏏🇮🇳🇦🇺 Alot of respect for you and the work you do in INDIA on and off the cricket pitch. Appreciate you supporting my move to play football in India. #LEGEND.”
