The 2019 edition of IPL will kickstart from March 23 and all teams have now started to make their strategies. The T20 league features plenty of superstars from across the globe hence fans can expect an enthralling contest in this T20 carnival.

Here are the top ten fantasy cricket picks for IPL 2019.

 

#10. Shreyas Iyer 

Delhi have shown immense faith in Iyer by making him the skipper of team but will this move work?

He has looked good in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy as he slammed two hundreds and he will be watched closely in the IPL as well.

 

#9. Andre Russell 

A game-changer with the bat, a more than handy option with the ball and a safe pair of hands in the field make Andre Russell the X-factor for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2019. He missed the 2018 edition and still has some injury scares but his presence is important for KKR as he brings much needed balance in the team.

 

#8. Suresh Raina-

He may have been sidelined from the national team but come IPL and Suresh Raina becomes a big threat for bowlers. The left-hander is a prolific run scorer in IPL and he will look to continue to his good record.

 

#7. Rishabh Pant

Pant failed to make an impact in the Australia series and he will enter the IPL being full aware that this tournament is his last hope to make a statement. His aggressive intent and fearless brand of cricket makes him a huge threat for bowlers and in this IPL we will know whether he has the temperament to play a big innings.

#6. Rohit Sharma-

The Mumbai Indians captain has won there IPL titles in five years so what does he have in store in 2019? Rohit has looked good with the bat in this year so far and he will have a big role to play for his franchise.

It will be interesting to see at what number bats as for India he opens the innings but for Mumbai he has preferred to bat at number four.

 

#5. Sunil Narine-

The Windies spinner is KKR’s trump card in IPL 2019. His bowling has seen a dip after he remodelled his bowling action but his venom is still intact. Plus his fireworks while batting at the top of the order are a real bonus for his franchise.

The Universal Boss played had only one franchise interested in him in 2018 but currently he is in tremendous form and has blasted record number of sixes in the recent series against England.
Hence Kings XI Punjab will be hoping that Gayle will fire once again in this IPL.

Virat Kohli has a few scores to settle in IPL 2019. As a batsman, he has been outstanding but somehow he has failed to inject the same excellence in his team Royal Challengers Bangalore.

The right hand batsman would be itching to lay his hands on the IPL trophy and he knows that for this he will have to lead from the front.

The T20 format is where Jasprit Bumrah is at his absolute best. His frenzy opening spell can make wonders with the new ball but watch out for his death bowling as he brings all his skills to the table.

He will be a key asset for Mumbai Indians and his death overs bowling will probably decide Mumbai Indians’ fate.

Warner is one of the most consistent performers in IPL in the recent years. He missed the 2018 edition but in 2017 he led Sunrisers Hyderabad to the title by scoring massive runs.
