Coultner-Nile misses third ODI, flies to Australia

The Aussie pace bowler was supposed to return to Australia after the third ODI but he received a message from home asking him to leave immediately and hence he left India on Thursday night from Ranchi.

The pace bowler won’t be available for the remaining two games of the ODI series and will join his teammates in UAE for the series against Pakistan.

Coultner-Nile was one of Australia’s premier pace bowlers and had claimed three wickets in the two ODIs so far. He was impressive in the T20I series as well and was infact the man of the match in the first T20I for claiming three wickets.

The absence of the pace bowler meant Jhye Richardson was roped in the playing eleven and got to play his first game of the series.

Richardson has played seven ODIs so far and has picked 13 wickets at an average of 29.46. He  received plenty of appreciation for his performance in the ODI series against India in Australia earlier this year however he went wicket less in the T20I series.
