West Indies squad arrive in India 

After the Asia Cup 2018 gets over, India will be playing West Indies in an over a month-long series slated to kick-start from 4th October.

The series starts with a two-match Test series and the players from the West Indies Test squad arrived India on Thursday. In a video shared by West Indies cricket, the players receive welcome by the hotel staff in the traditional Indian way.

In another video shared on Instagram, the players were seen stepping out of the van and entering the hotel’s gate with dhol playing in the background to greet them upon their arrival.

A traditional dance performance was also arranged for the Windies squad and the team management. “India’s vibrant culture greets us upon arrival!!,” the caption of the video reads.

India and West Indies will be playing 2 Tests, 5 ODIs and T20Is. The first Test is slated to kick start from October 4, 2018, in Rajkot.

India are yet to announce their Test squad.
