There is no stopping to Virat Kohli. The Indian captain is in imperious batting form as he has smashed three hundreds in his last four ODI innings. After belting 140 runs in the first ODI, the right-hand batsman produced yet another masterpiece of 157 not out and Twitter exploded with appreciation and praise for the Indian captain.
Kohli shows the way once again
India lost both the openers early in the innings and this forced Kohli to start his innings with caution. The number three batsman allowed Ambati Rayudu to take the charge in the initial overs but after the fall of Rayudu, Kohli began his onslaught. In the death overs, he went berserk and played some atrocious strokes that left Windies players stunned. The Indian captain scored 157 runs off 129 balls and remained unbeaten. In the process, he also became the quickest to break the barrier of 10000 ODI runs.
Mumbai Police’s creative praise for Kohli
Soon after Kohli entered the elite club of 10000 runs, Twitter erupted with congratulatory tweets and appreciation for the Indian batsman. Cricketers and fans across the world praised Virat for his unbelievable hunger for runs and his prolific run-scoring.
The twitter handle of Mumbai Police went one step ahead and congratulated the Indian captain in a witty manner.
In the Tweet, Mumbai Police said, ‘No over-speeding challan here, just accolades & best wishes for more
@imVkohli ! Many congratulations on your amazing feat!’

Virat Kohli also became the quickest to score 10000 ODI runs. He achieved this feat in his 205th ODI innings while the previous record holder Sachin Tendulkar had reached the milestone in his 259th innings. Kohli also has the best average among players who have scored 10000 and more ODI runs.
To give you an idea of how much better Virat Kohli is than other great ODI players: him scoring 10,000 ODI runs in 205 innings—54 faster than the next best—is proportionately equivalent to breaking Usain Bolt's 100m record by exactly 2.00 seconds (100m in 7.58 seconds). #INDvWI

Right now, Virat Kohli is desperately trying to link his Aadhaar to his PayTM account so he can access that Rs. 1L MoM prize.

Virat Kohli in ODIs in 2018. 1000 runs in just 11 innings this year. 112, 46*,160*,75, 36, 129*, 75 ,45, 71, 140, 157*. Nobody has ever scored a thousand runs in just 11 ODI innings.
