The 2019 edition of IPL will kickstart in a week and all teams are busy preparing for this iconic T20 tournament. Former India captain and Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni is gearing up as well for IPL and he showcased his preparations by raining sixes with ease during the practice session.
MS Dhoni has remained the talisman for CSK since 2008 and the wicket-keeper batsman has played several match-winning knocks for the franchise.
Over the years, Dhoni has restricted his big-hitting game in international cricket but in IPL he has often scored briskly which is his natural game.
And he showed no signs of slowing down as he practised big hitting in the nets.
In the video posted on Twitter by Chennai Super Kings’ official account, the CSK skipper is seen playing plenty of big shots. The wicket-keeper batsman is hammering sixes to all parts of the ground and is tearing apart every bowler.
