An abandoned game on Monday have given the last two ODIs more value in Windies vs England series. Winning the fourth ODI means taking an unassailable lead and hence everything is at stake when both the teams meet on 27th February.

And these three players from both the teams can probably end up as the match-winners in this all-important WI vs ENG 4th ODI.

#3. Joe Root-

In a batting line-up full of swashbuckling hitters, Joe Root is that invisible glue that is keeping things together. He is technically sound and has the required skills to bat deep in the Windies conditions.

With a hundred in the first ODI he has cemented his place in the ODI team but the presence of Alex Hales in the squad will be an incentive for Root to continue his purple patch.

He is in serene form in this series so far and England will be expecting that he comes good in the remaining matches as well.

#2. Jason Roy-

Roy’s all-out aggression at the top is one of the reasons for England’s tremendous success in the recent past and the same can be expected from him in the fourth ODI.

Roy loves pace on the ball and this is exactly what he will get in the fourth ODI as Windies bowling attack has plenty of pacers.

It will be interesting to see how Roy counters Sheldon Cottrell as he will be high on confidence after claiming a five-wicket haul in the second ODI.

#3. Chris Gayle-

With a hundred in the first game and then a fifty in the second game, Chris Gayle has made it clear that he means business as curtains are falling on his ODI career.

Incidently, the left-hand batsman has followed a different approach so far.He has remained quiet in the first half of the innings and has then made up for the dot balls by going full throttle in the second-half.

It will be interesting to see how England counters the ‘universal Boss’ as Gayle can turn the game on his head in no time.
