Fantasy Cricket: Key players for DEL vs MUM Dream11, and CHE vs PNJ Dream11 clash

We are heading towards the last day of the regular season in IPL and there are still two playoffs places up for grabs. Delhi Daredevils host Mumbai Indians while Chennai Super Kings welcome Kings XI Punjab to Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium.

So, let’s have a look at the key players:

DEL vs MUM Players to watch out for:

Long been out of playoff contention, Delhi Daredevils still have a big part to play in deciding the final shape of IPL table. We know they can be more than a handful match at Firozshah Kotla and a magnificent win against Chennai Super Kings only underpinned that Mumbai Indians must be wary of their threat in a do-or-die match for them.

The home team’s key batsmen are definitely Delhi’s captain Shreyas Iyer and the swashbuckling left-handed batsman and perhaps a contender for the emerging player of the season, Rishabh Pant. Iyer has 405 runs to his name in the 13 games he has played so far, while Pant has scored a whopping 620 runs (1 century and 4 50s) in IPL 2018.

While in the Bowling department, home team’s ambitions will depend on the bowling arms of Trent Boult, Sandeep Lamichhane, and Amit Mishra.

More often than not, Boult has delivered for Delhi and his 17 wickets in 13 matches this season shows how important a member he is for Daredevils. While Amit Mishra has been in-and-out of the team of late but in the last game he showed that he has a lot to offer. Sandeep Lamichhane has two games but the Batsmen are finding it hard to score against him. He could be a key figure come tomorrow’s match.

For Mumbai Indians, their Batting fortunes will revolve around the exploits of Suryakumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma, and Evin Lewis. Yadav has scored 500 runs in the 13 games he has played this season while Sharma is having a very torrid season, to say the least. He has scored just 273 runs in the regular season so far, but he remains Mumbai’s key player in this particular department. Meanwhile, Evin Lewis has 334 runs in the 12 matches in IPL 2018.

In Bowling, Mitchell McClenaghan, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mayank Markande remain Mumbai Indians’ best bet to get the wickets. Bumrah has 16 wickets (3-15 in the last match), while McClenaghan and Markande have 14 wickets each to their names.

CHE vs PNJ Players to watch out for:

Having already qualified for the playoffs, Chennai Superkings looked a bit rusty in the last game. Now they host Kings XI Punjab in the last league game and MS Dhoni must be aiming to finish the regular season with a win under his belt.

We may see some changes in the batting department as Sam Billings failed to leave his mark in yet another game. But their main batting unit is their front three Shane Watson, Ambati Rayudu, and Suresh Raina.

While in Bowling, Deepak Chahar, Lungi Ngidi and Ravindra Jadeja could hold the key for the two-times Champions.

For Kings XI Punjab, it’s a do-or-die game and they have no choice but to win this match to have any chance of making into the playoffs. The run-rate could come in place and if that’s the case then there’s no better player to work in that regard than the universal boss Chris Gayle.

The West Indian has scored 368 runs in the 10 games, scoring 1 century and 3 50s in the process, while his partner Lokesh Rahul has been a revelation as he has racked up a whopping 652 runs in the 13 matches so far.

In bowling, you look no further than Andrew Tye who is the current holder of Purple Cap. The Australian fast Bowler has taken 24 wickets in the regular season.
