eng vs pak dream11

The first test of two-match series between England and Pakistan starts tomorrow. Both the teams will play the first match at Lord’s London tomorrow morning. This will be the first summer test after a terrific winter test season for the hosts. England failed to manage a single test win in their tour to Australia and New Zealand. However, England has a solid win ratio in the home conditions, They have lost just 2 out of last 19 home series.

Pakistan, on the other hand, will start as underdogs with an inexperienced batting order. They are returning after the only test against Ireland and will go with the same squad. The experience lies only in the likes of Sarfraz Ahmed, M Amir, and A Ali.

So, let’s have a look at the key players-

ENG vs PAK Dream11

For Eng, the key batters will be J Bairstow, D Malan, skipper Joe Root, Joss Buttler and M Stoneman. The English batting order looks stronger with Joss Buttler getting a recall to test cricket after almost 1 and half years. Buttler is in a terrific form and it was clearly evident in the ongoing IPL 2018. In terms of scoring runs, skipper Joe Root has scored 788 runs in last 10 matches and has an average of 49.27.

In bowling, Pakistan might feel weak in front of the experienced swing bowling of  James Anderson and S Broad. In last 10 matches, Anderson has taken 44 wickets while S Broad has 31 scalps.

For Pak, skipper S Ahmed, Azhar Ali and M Amir will be the key players. Their innings will be of utmost importance. Scoring runs will mainly rely upon the shoulders of S Ahmed, Azhar Ali, and B Azam. Young Imam Ul Haq also impressed everyone with his recent performances. Azhar Ali has scored 893 runs in 10 matches while S Ahmed has collected 574 runs in last 10 games.

In bowling, M Amir and M Abbas will be the key bowlers. M Abbas has taken 32 wickets in last 6 matches and M Amir has 27 wickets in his bag in last 10 matches.
