Fantasy Cricket: Key players for RR vs KKR Dream11 clash

Kolkata Knight Riders host Rajasthan Royals in the IPL-Eliminator tomorrow at the iconic Eden Gardens, Kolkata. This is the cost of finishing the regular season at 3rd and 4th in the table as unlike the qualifier-1, this is a one-off game and the loser will get nothing but a sayonara from IPL.

Though it’s a team game and all the players need to contribute in some way, there remain some players in both teams who will certainly have a big say in the final result.

So, let’s have a look at the key players:

RR vs KKR Players to watch out for:

Kolkata Knight Riders –

Despite not playing in his swashbuckling style that he is known for worldwide, Chris Lynn remains a fire that could propel the KKR to a breathtaking start. If he clicks and plays his natural game, then it could be a game-over for Rajasthan Royals much before the normal proceedings of the game. In the 14 matches this season, Lynn has managed 425 runs, scoring 50+ score three-times.

KKR are expected to use their trump card Sunil Narine once more in this game and if he departs cheaply, then Robin Uthappa and Dinesh Kartik will have big responsibilities on their shoulders.

But it’s KKR’s captain and wicketkeeper-batsman who has done some justice to his name, scoring 438 runs in 14 matches also finishing the match not-out on 6 occasions. While Uthappa has scored only 346 runs this season, scored just 1 fifty and certainly is due for some big inning in this match.

In Bowling, Sunil Narine is definitely their go-to-man in all situations. The West Indian has taken 16 wickets in this campaign at a strike-rate of 19.87, while Kuldeep Yadav (14), Andre Russell (13) and Piyush Chawla (11) have also performed expectedly well with the ball.

Rajasthan Royals –

For Rajasthan Royals, in the absence of Jos Buttler, their Batting will revolve around Ajinkya Rahane. The Indian International has underperformed this season, scoring just 324 runs in 14 matches. But he is a big name player and you can expect a much-improved performance from his in this game.

Meanwhile, Rahul Tripathi was promoted to the opening slot in the last game and he grabbed that opportunity with both hands as he carried his bat and scored 80 runs in this game.

In Bowling, once again Jofra Archer will have a big say. The 23-year-old fast bowler has 13 wickets to his name at very good strike-rate of 16. While Shreyas Gopal (10) and Jaydev Unadkat (11) have done a decent job with the ball this season.
