It’s going to be a crucial affair both sides as Hyderabad find themselves at the 5th spot with six points, while, the Knight Riders are a spot above them with eight. We can expect a cracker of a contest and with that being said, there are quite a few players who can have a major say in the game ahead.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper has always been one of the central figures in the batting department. Talking about the current season, Warner has scored 284 runs from the last eight appearances which includes two fifties, an average of 35.50 and a strike rate of 121.88. The Australian international is one of the more consistent performers and should be picked here.
The newly appointed KKR captain is an integral figure in his side’s middle order. Eoin Morgan has scored 218 runs from the last eight appearances. Though he is yet to score a fifty this season, Morgan averages 42.80 and has a strike rate of 130.48 which ensures his reliability with the bat.
The specialist wicket keeper batsman is another power packed performer for the Sunrisers. Bairstow has struck 280 runs from the last eight appearances which includes three fifties and a scintillating knock of 97. The 22-year-old KKR fast bowler has shown heart with the ball in hand and continues to impress. Mavi consistently clocks 140 clicks and above, and has also picked up six wickets in the process from the last six games. Shivam Mavi is being regarded as one of the upcoming talents in the Indian cricket circuit and could once again play a pivotal role here.
Rashid Khan has been one of the hottest properties in the IPL and more particularly for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. The Afghani wrist spinner has scalped 10 wickets from the last eight appearances and also has a stable economy rate of 5.34. Rashid Khan’s ability to contain runs and pick up wickets at crucial intervals makes him a vital member of the Sunrisers unit.
Shubman Gill is known to accumulate runs and should continue to open the innings for the Knight Riders. The 21-year-old has struck 275 runs from the last eight appearances which two fifties and a healthy average of 39.28.
