2023 IPL Auction: The IPL 2023 auction is scheduled to take place on December 23 in Kochi, India, just before the competition begins the following year. 50 foreign players were among the 163 cricketers that were kept on by their respective franchises. This means that 87 places across all teams are still available in the upcoming auction. Notably, there is still money in the franchise sale pool totaling 206.5 million rupees. This year, 991 players have signed up for the IPL auction 2022. Players who choose not to take the beating this year will watch the competition from the sidelines. The list of players up for auction has been released. On December 23, 2022, in Kochi, 405 cricketers will be sold off.273 of the 405 players are Indian, 132 are from abroad, and 4 are from partner countries. There are 119 total capped players, 282 uncapped players, and 4 players from associate countries. There are now 87 spots across different franchisees up for grabs, with up to 30 of them reserved for players from abroad.
