On October 5, the highly anticipated World Cup begins with a thrilling match between England and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This opening clash mirrors the intensity of the 2019 Final, setting the stage for an electrifying tournament. Hosts India will be kickstarting their World Cup 2023 campaign on 8 October, 2023 in Chennai against Australia.
The highly anticipated showcase event will feature a total of 10 teams. The first eight teams have already secured their spots through the Cricket World Cup Super League. On October 20, Pakistan will face Australia in Bengaluru, while the following day, England will go head-to-head against South Africa in Mumbai. India will confront New Zealand on October 22 at the picturesque Dharamsala venue, seeking redemption for their defeat in the 2019 semi-final.
