West Indies opener Evin Lewis scored three consecutive sixes off the leggie Hayden Walsh Jr during the game between St Kitts & Nevis Patriots and Barbados Tridents in the CPL 2020 on Tuesday night. SNP were chasing a stiff target and needed a boost as the required-rate was creeping up quickly. Lewis, then, exploded to hit take the case of Hayden Walsh to score 20 runs off his over.

St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots were chasing a target of 152 runs against Barbados Tridents. Despite Lewis taking the charge on one end, they were struggling for momentum courtesy some tight bowing from Jason Holder and Rashid Khan. SNP were stuck at 51/2 after 8 overs with more than 100 runs required in the last 12 overs. In the 9th over, bowled by the leg-spinner Hayden Walsh, Evin Lewis exploded as the opener hit 3 sixes in a row on the first 3 deliveries of the over. He also completed his half-century in the process.

The first six was hit over the deep cover as Walsh bowled a full delivery wide on-off. He smacked the 2nd delivery over the long-on boundary, and the 3rd delivery was slogged over the deep square to get a maximum. Watch the video here –
