ABD reveals his perfect cricket moment, favourite Indian city and cricket stroke

South African cricketer AB de Villiers has stated that his innings at Wanderers where he broke the record for the fastest ODI hundred is his perfect cricket moment. The former South African cricket player also talked about his decision of retirement and experience of batting with Virat Kohli at RCB in the IPL.

ABD reveals his favourite Indian city

The right-hand batsman had a candid conversation with the media where he answered questions about himself. When asked about his association with Royal Challengers Bangalore, AB de Villiers noted that he is playing for the franchise for eight years and it is a great privilege to play for Bangalore.  He admitted that Bangalore is his favourite Indian city. He noted that he is visiting India since 2001 and it is an amazing country.

The south African cricketer was asked about the perfect cricketing moment in his career to which he said that perfection is a difficult thing and he personally believes that it is not possible. He admitted that in sports everyone strives to be perfect but there are always those areas where you can improve on.

The right-hand batsman believes that getting in the zone is the closet thing to being perfect and he feels that his innings at Wanderers where he broke the record for fastest ODI hundred comes to his mind as he remembers that innings as a blur.

The favourite shot of ABD

The  former South African captain refused to name any specific shot as his favourite cricket shot and said that any shot that comes from the middle of the bat is pretty enjoyable. However he did throw some light on the outrageous shots he played during his batting. He said that those shots came out when he was desperate to change the game. He admitted that playing those strokes was not comfortable but he always put the team first and tried to get some momentum behind the game.

Kohli and I have similar mindset: ABD 

The South African cricketer said that Kohli and he have similar mindset and both of them like to enjoy the game. He admitted that it is nice to bat with someone in the middle who understands why you play and also for him to understand him.

While speaking about retirement, he said that he is happy with his decision and has no plans of making any comeback in international cricket.
