Ireland finally tasted some success in the ongoing series against Afghanistan thanks a brilliant hundred from Andy Balbirnie. This win has skyrocketed the confidence of the visitors and they will be now itching to continue their good work in the fourth ODI and take a decisive lead in the ODI series.

On the other hand Afghanistan will have some introspection to do ahead of the AFG vs IRE 4th ODI and the team management would be hoping that the team regains the form in this crucial ODI.

And in this ODI, these three players will be worth watching for.

#3. Rashid Khan-

The leg-spinner has claimed only two wickets in two innings so far in this series and hence has all the reasons to up the ante in the fourth ODI and make his presence felt.

Rashid was countered brilliantly in the third ODI by the Ireland batsmen so it will be interesting to see what strategy the leg-spinner deploys in the fourth ODI.

In the past too, the leg-spinner has come back well after having an odd game and hence the team management will back him in this important match.

#2. Hazratullah Zazai-

Zazai set the stage on fire by blasting 162 runs in the second T20I and then followed it up by scoring a quickfire half-century in the ODI series.

In the third game too he looked in fine form but was unfortunately run out after scoring 34 runs. He will be a key asset for Afghanistan in the fourth ODI as his aggressive start at the top of the batting order can really set things up for the team.

#3. Andy Balbirnie-

Balbirnie played one of the finest innings in chases in ODI cricket by slamming 145 not out in the third game. His temperament and aggression was impressive and Ireland will be expecting the same from him in the fourth ODI.

He played the Afghanistan spinners with authority in the last game but can he do the same once again and prove it wasn’t a fluke?
