S Sreesanth makes a big revelation in Big Boss
S Sreesanth has revealed in Big Boss that he considered committing suicide after the infamous IPL spot-fixing row that took the cricketing fraternity by storm in 2013. Former Indian cricketer, Sreesanth has been banned for the rest of his life by BCCI said claimed his innocence and he wasn’t involved in any corrupt activity.
He said that he was accused of spot-fixing for an amount of Rs 10 lakh. Allegations were laid on Ajit Chandila, Ankeet Chavan and S Sreesanth following a match between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings in the sixth edition of the Indian Premier League. Although he was acquitted by a Delhi court in 2015, BCCI sustained its decision of imposing a lifetime ban on the cricketer. Sreesanth broke down while narrating the incident to other participants and said that if his son starts playing cricket, he would not be able he play as the former cricketer is not allowed to enter a cricket field.

Sreesanth appealed for permission to play cricket outside India, but the Supreme Court rejected his plea for playing County cricket in May. After being out of the game, Sreesanth has tried his hands in politics and movies, and he is currently part of this season of Big Boss. Sreesanth has spilt the beans about his life in the show earlier as well. In one of the previous episodes, Sreesanth opened up about ‘slapgate’ controversy which involved veteran Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh. Sreesanth was slapped by Mumbai Indians’ Harbhajan Singh had slapped Harbhajan Singh after a match between MI and Kings XI Punjab.
Raj Kundra receives backlash from Sreesanth’s wife over his comment
Former Rajasthan Royals co-owner commented on the video posted by Colours TV. Kundra posted a comment which read ‘epic’ along with an emoji laughing off Sreesanth’s claims. To this Sreesanth’s wife commented, “Epic is his guts to comment where he’s been found guilty of betting by the court. Whereas Sreesanth has been discharged and proven innocent of all the charges by the court.”
