Just when it looked like the duo of Smith and Maxwell will take them home, Aiden Markram’s brilliance in the field saw the former back in the dressing room for 35 runs.

It was during the 15th over when Anrich Nortje bowled a short ball and that batter stood up to pull and got a slight top-edge on it as it balloons into an empty mid-wicket, where Markram spots it early as he runs across from long-on, dives horizontally and takes an absolute stunner.

However, the arrival of Marcus Stoinis changed the game for Australia. He along with Mathew Wade made sure they don’t lose further wickets and take their team home.
