BAN vs IND: Deepak Chahar reportedly suffers a hamstring injury during second ODI

While India has delivered a solid bowling performance, injury woes have yet again haunted them. They first lost skipper Rohit Sharma as he was taken for scans after he injured his thumb while fielding in the slips.

It is now learned that Deepak Chahar too have suffered an injury as he reportedly has pulled his hamstring yet again. The pacer so far has bowled just 3 overs in the match and since then has hasn’t been on the field.

With stand-in skipper KL Rahul trying to complete the overs with Axar Patel, who has been a touch expensive, it clearly indicates that Chahar is not fit to play. The pacer notably, bowled staggering three overs upfront as he made openers look clueless with his swing bowling.

Although no official statement has made by BCCI about Chahar, but it is quite clear that he won’t bowl any further in the match. His injury marks the 4th Indian player to get injured during his tour after Mohammad Shami, Kuldeep Sen, Rohit Sharma.

BAN vs IND: Mahmudullah and Mehidy Hasan Miraz’s fifties lead a strong comeback after a poor start

After a staggering start by Indian pacers, which saw Bangladesh tumbling at 69/6, Mahmudullah and Mehidy Hasan Miraz’s fifties lead a strong comeback after a poor start. The duo has  stitched the highest ever 7th wicket partnership against India in ODI history with over 148 runs. They counter attacked the Indian bowlers and smashed them all over the part to take their team past 200 runs.
