The premier franchise league of Cricket Australia has grown in stature over the years and is back with its 15th edition. As always, a total of 8 teams will be contesting in grueling encounters for 41 days to clinch the BBL title. The opening game will be a clash of champions as 5-time champions Perth Scorchers and 3-time champions Sydney Sixers will be locking horns as they did in the first-ever BBL final back in 2011-12.
