Bowled FIRST BALL! Watch Jofra Archer’s unplayable ball to Prithvi Shaw

Match number 30 of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League got off to a great start in the point of view of the Rajasthan Royals fans. Rajasthan Royals took on the Delhi Capitals in an all important group stage game here in Dubai International Cricket Stadium and could not have hoped for a better start than what just happened.

Prithvi Shaw Gone first ball

The young sensation from Mumbai Prithvi Shaw has been associated with the Delhi Capitals franchise for the last couple of years and has been giving them fantastic starts in the power play. Even in this edition he has gotten his team to good starts on more than couple of occasions in the first 7 matches and has understandably failed in other occasions which is quite normal.

Jofra Archer, a world renowned fast bowler from England took the new ball and turned up to bowl for Rajasthan Royals and on strike was Delhi Capitals opener Prithvi Shaw. Jofra Archer bowled a jaffa as commentators would like to call it. It was just the perfect delivery, pitched outside off stump and seamed in off the deck to hit top of middle peg. Prithvi Shaw played an expansive short in the first ball and all he could manage was a tiny little inside edge on the ball which was on its way to shatter the stumps.

Captain and senior pro steading the ship

Jofra Archer did not just stop with a wicket of the first ball. He returned to bowl the third over of the innings which was his second to remove #3 batter Ajinkya Rahane.

Then, Delhi capitals were in a spot of bother when captain Shreyas Iyer came to the middle. He along with opener Shikhar Dhawan the senior statesman of the team steadied the innings with a nice partnership of 85 runs
