Sachin Tendulkar COVID-19: India’s legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar has tested positive for covid-19 after showing mild symptoms and has gone into home quarantine and will follow all the necessary medical protocols, the 47-year-old took to social media to confirm the news. Master Blaster confirmed that all of his family members have been tested negative.
In the message posted on the Twitter account, India’s legendary batsman reiterated that he was taking all the necessary precautions even before contracting the virus.
I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid-19 is kept at bay.
However, I’ve tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative.
I’ve quarantined myself at home and am following all the necessary protocols as advised by the doctors.
I want to thank all the healthcare professionals who are supporting me and many others across the country.

Sachin Tendulkar decided not to celebrate his birthday last year to pay respect to all the health workers who are at the forefront of the battleground against Covid-19.
The 47-year-old also donated INR 50 Lakh to the CM Relief Fund and has been continuously doing other initiatives.
Sachin Tendulkar also played in the recently concluded Road Safety World Series, which India Legends won after beating Sri Lanka Legends in the final.
The tournament is an initiative of the Road Safety Cell of Maharashtra that aims to raise awareness about road safety.
