India and Australia are all set to lock horns with another mouthwatering series in prospect starting from Friday. India will kick-off their 2 months tour of Australia at SCG with the first ODI. But before that we got to see something during India’s net session yesterday that can throw fans into a lighter mood.

Jadeja Replaces Bumrah, oh Wait!

With cricketers staying in each other’s companies for most part of the year, they tend to know each other pretty well. Not only that, they start to have tiniest knowledge of everyone else in the team. So, imitating a teammate’s bowling action should not be a challenge to anyone. But what if I tell you that imitation is of Jasprit Bumrah?

Yes, Ravindra Jadeja pulled-off near perfect bowling action of Jasprit Bumrah. As you can see in the video, he tried to bowl exactly in the way as Jasprit Bumrah does. In return, Jasprit Bumrah perfected the action of India’s premier left-arm spinner. Apart from that, Prithvi Shaw also tried to create ‘Bumrah Angle’ but he was not as successful as Jadeja but he pulled out Sri Lankan legendary off-spinner quite well in the end.

Who draw the first blood?

With ODI series beginning from Friday, both India and Australia are giving last shape to their preparations for the series. Teams are practicing for close to 10 days now and will be looking to take initial advantage over the others in a long tour. While India are missing the services of their star opener Rohit Sharma, Australia will be looking to strengthen their lower middle order against a formidable Indian bowling. Opening partnership for India will remain another interesting puzzle for the team management before the first match. All in all, we can expect cracker-jack of a contest between these two sides from tomorrow.
