If there is anyone in the dressing room who wants to play day in and day out and thrash bowlers out of the park then it would be none other than the India’s new designated wicket-keeper KL Rahul.

The man from Karnataka has been in the beast mode off late. There has been no shortage of talent but he is converting all those skills and potentials into the performance on the field.

Gabbar wishes the in-form KL in his own way
India badly missed the services of the India’s premier white ball opener in Shikhar Dhawan in the recently concluded 3 match ODI series against the Kiwis which India were whitewashed 3-0. Though India had the option to play KL Rahul which is his preferred position in any format of the game, Indian management were clear cut in their plan of grooming Rahul as the next wicket-keeper middle order batsman who can potentially go on to fill Dhoni’s shoes.

The southpaw who has been sidelined due to injury has come up with a message wishing the in-form KL Rahul in his own hilarious manner

“Well played and wonderful century bro keep going strong. The way you are batting, even if you go as 12th man you will score a ton,” Dhawan said in an Instagram post

The new #2 batsman in T20Is
KL Rahul had a series to remember in the recently concluded historic T20I series against New Zealand where he bagged man of the series award as well. As a result of his stellar show, he jumped to the no:2 rankings in the ICC T20I rankings for the batsmen. He is the top ranked Indian batsmen in the shortest format of the game.
KL Rahul will be seen in a new avatar as the captain of the Kings XI Punjab. He will be leading the team for the first time in IPL.
All in all, the year has started in a bright fashion for KL Rahul and he will be hoping to do a double of an IPL trophy as well as WT20.
