The dates and schedule for the Caribbean Premier League 2026 is out. The 14th edition of the CPL is set to get underway on Friday, 7th August, with a clash between the Jamaica Kingsmen and the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons. The Jamaica franchise, which is the three-time champion, will return to the CPL after a hiatus of 2 years with a different name. They were previously called the Jamaica Tallawahs, but from this season they will be known by the name ‘Jamaica Kingsmen.’
Sharing his excitement for the upcoming season, the Caribbean Premier League CEO, Pete Russell, was quoted as saying,
“With an expanded tournament in 2026, we are delighted to be bringing CPL cricket to St Vincent & the Grenadines for the first time. We are equally excited about hosting finals week in Barbados, where we have ambitious plans to deliver the biggest and most memorable finale in the tournament’s 14-year history. Each year, our goal is to raise the bar, and I am more confident than ever that CPL 2026 will be our best season yet.”
