CPL T20: Jamaica Tallawahs all-rounder ruled out for rest of tournament

Jamaica Tallawahs have suffered a massive blow, with confirmation on all-rounder Rovman Powell been ruled out for the rest of the CPL T20. The 26-year-old picked up the injury during Tallawahs’ fourth straight loss against the Trinbago Knight Riders on Friday.

The all-rounder suffered an abdominal strain while batting and had to go off the field.

Jamaica Tallawahs plagued with injuries

All-rounder Andre Russell is already on the sidelines after a bumper struck him in the head, resulting in a concussion. Russell is expected to return for Jamaica’s final home game against the Patriots on Thursday at 7 PM.
