DC Playing 11: Two top teams of this year’s IPL Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore will be facing each other here at Ahmedabad on Tuesday. The Capitals have registered four wins and are looking comfortable at the points table. But they will have to bear the loss of their premier spinner R Ashwin who has taken a break. In 25 matches played between these two sides, 14 have gone RCB’s way while DC has won 10 of them. In the last season, Delhi Capitals were victorious in both the fixtures and they will look to continue the momentum forward.

R Ashwin is the latest player to withdraw from the tournament midway to support his family during this tough time. Umesh Yadav can replace him in the eleven. All other players are available for selection for Delhi.

DC Playing 11 (likely)

P Shaw
S Dhawan
S Smith
R Pant (C) (wk)
M Stoinis
S Hetmyer
A Patel
K Rabada
A Mishra
U Yadav
A Khan

The openers have been in an excellent form for Delhi with both Shaw and Dhawan firing at the top. The middle order looks settled with Smith, Pant and Hetmyer too. On the bowling front, Ashwin’s skills and experience will be missed and some changes in plans are expected for the Capitals especially with the new ball. Mishra and Avesh Khan have showed lots of promise so far while Axar Patel had a brilliant return to the side.
