After having lost the toss and being asked to bowl first, the Delhi Capitals captain David Warner mentioned that Prithvi Shaw is once again not included in the DC playing 11 for this DC vs SRH match on Saturday. Interestingly, the explosive Indian opener is not even part of the five substitute members out of which one can be used as an Impact Player at any moment in the game. Shaw has experienced a horrible form in the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 having mustered just 15 runs from as many as 6 games at a poor strike-rate of under 120.

“It’s about putting the best foot forward, and adapt to the conditions. We are losing wickets in a cluster. Need to hit down the wicket, need to put a good batting performance. We got to bowl well in the first six overs. Home and away (games) that’s a bit challenging, but we are enjoying it. Priyam Garg makes his debut, Aman Khan is out,” said Delhi Capitals captain David Warner during the toss.
