It is a big setback for the Sunrisers Hyderabad that their frontline spinner Washington Sundar will no longer be available for the remainder of IPL 2023 season due to a hamstring injury ahead of the DC vs SRH match. Incidentally, during the last game against Delhi Capitals earlier in the ongoing T20 competition, Sundar bowled an impressive spell where he took as many as three wickets and gave away just 28 runs from his quota of four overs. However, Washington has not bowled really well in the 7 matches played for Sunrisers Hyderabad this year as he went wicketless in the first six games and conceded runs at an economy rate of over 8. But his absence is definitely a big blow for the Sunrisers Hyderabad.
