The Kolkata Knight Riders made a phenomenal comeback during their last game where they registered a convincing 81-run victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore. This win came after a poor loss against Punjab Kings in their opening match of IPL 2023.

Bangladesh’s explosive batsman Litton Das is yet to join the Kolkata Knight Riders camp for the ongoing IPL 2023 season and thus, he will not be playing the GT vs KKR IPL 2023 match on Sunday. He was recently part of the Bangladesh Test team playing a one-off Test match against Ireland at home and is scheduled to reach directly in Kolkata before KKR’s next home game against Sunrisers Hyderabad which will be taking place on 14 April, 2023. In his absence, the Kolkata Knight Riders have tried a couple of opening combinations in the last two games and none of them have clicked as a pair, however, Afghanistan opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored a fine fifty in the previous game against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
