Australia legend Glenn McGrath has hailed Jasprit Bumrah for World Cup 2019 performances. McGrath, on a visit at MRF Pace Foundation, said that Indian bowling attack has been quite impressive.

“They were impressive during their tour to Australia and even out-bowled us. I am particularly impressed with Jasprit Bumrah, who bowls fast in a short run up and has a unique action,” said McGrath.

Dhoni should play as long as he enjoys the game

The former Aussie fast bowler said that the role of MS Dhoni in Team India’s World Cup 2019 campaign is of utmost importance and brings immense value to captain Virat Kohli. McGrath dismissed that Dhoni’s time is over.

“There are talks of his retirement, but Dhoni should keep playing as long as he enjoys the game,” McGrath said.

Team India has recorded three wins out of four games, with one getting abandoned due to rain. The Men in Blue take on Afghanistan in the next game this Saturday (June 22).
