The countdown has begun. The 10th edition of ICC T20 World Cup 2026 is set to kick off on February 7, 2026. The reigning champions, India, will be in action on the opening day of the competition as they will take on the United States of America in one of the three games staged for the opening day at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
The 20-team ICC T20 World Cup 2026 will be jointly hosted by 2-time champions India and 2014 champions Sri Lanka, spanning 29 days across eight venues—five in India and three in Sri Lanka. Take a look at the venues.
The format remains the same as the last edition: 20 teams divided into four groups of 5 teams each. Check out the groups below.
The group stage will commence on February 7 and conclude on February 20, with the final group game to be played between Oman and the 2021 champions, Australia. The Super 8 Stage will commence on 21st February, whereas the knockouts will take place from March 4.
