First time in the history, England and New Zealand faced each other in the World Cup 2019 final at Lord’s on Sunday. The stakes were high as both the Teams England and New Zealand had a chance to become first-time winners but it was decided by the number of boundaries hit in a thriller and England emerged World Cup 2019 champions.

Ben Stokes: England’s hero 

“I’m pretty lost for words. All the hard work over four years, to get here and be champions of the world. It’s an amazing feeling. I’m pretty done,” said  Stokes

“This is where we aspired to be and to manage to come here and do it in such a good game. I don’t think there will ever be a better game of cricket in history than that,” Stokes added further.
