Rishabh Pant Helicopter shot: The 3rd and final ODI between India and England is currently taking place, and it’s been an open ended contest so far. However, one of the moments which caught everyone’s attention was another ridiculously good execution of a Rishabh Pant helicopter. Adil Rashid did put the pressure on the Indians by getting the well settled Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma back to the dressing room.
However, Pant didn’t bog down from a challenge and displayed his fantastic yet unconventional shot through the square leg region.
The ball almost did travel to the fence but the 23-year-old has to settle for four runs. Rishabh Pant was promoted to number four to counter the spin duo of Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali, and so far he has made it count.
Some of the fans also expressed their delight of watching the fearless batsmen pulling out another shot out of the bag.
It was England who one the third straight toss in the series and elected to field first. The opening duo of Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma got off to a terrific start. Both batsmen scored 103 within 15 overs before Rohit Sharma was out bowled on 37 on a googly by Adil Rashid. Dahwan’s entertaining knock of 67 from 56 also came to an end, as Rashid got his man caught and bowled. The skipper Virat Kohli was dismissed cheaply on 7 by Moeen Ali, whereas, KL Rahul was unfortunate to get out caught on a poor delivery by Liam Livingstone.
That being said, both Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya are trying to steady the ship in the middle. Team India will be hoping for the Pant and Pandya to go deep in the innings as that could lead them to score an above par total. The ball by ball coverage is being covered on Star Sports as well as Hotstar.
