Who will win India vs Australia

IND vs AUS: Former Indian cricketer, Aakash Chopra, disagrees with the views expressed by the Australian media and former players who think the visitors have a strong chance of reclaiming the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The four-match Test series between India and Australia is set to begin in Nagpur on February 9, and many Australian ex-players believe that the Australian cricket team, led by Pat Cummins, will emerge victorious. They believe that the team has a better chance of winning if the games are played on pitches that are not rank turners.

However, Aakash Chopra doesn’t share this view and believes that the Indian cricket team is capable of defending their home soil and retaining the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. India has a strong batting line-up, with players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Cheteshwar Pujara, who have consistently performed well in the recent past. The team also has a formidable pace attack, consisting of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Ishant Sharma, who can pose a challenge to the Australian batsmen.

In addition to this, India has the advantage of playing at home, where they are familiar with the conditions and pitches. The team has a good record in recent times, and the players will be eager to continue their winning streak. On the other hand, Australia will be playing away from home, and will have to adjust to the different conditions in India.

The upcoming Test series between India and Australia promises to be a closely contested affair, with both teams having their strengths and weaknesses. While the Australian media and former players may believe that the visitors have a great chance to reclaim the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Aakash Chopra has a different perspective and thinks that the Indian cricket team is capable of retaining the trophy. The outcome of the series will be determined by the performances of the players and how they adapt to the conditions in India.

“If you listen to the Australian media or former cricketers, it seems it is an even contest, that Australia will beat India and that they are an amazing team. I feel batting is okay but who will bowl? Who will pick up 20 wickets in bowling?,” said Aakash Chopra on his YouTube channel.

“I don’t see might in the bowling apart from Pat Cummins and Lyon, that’s my personal opinion. Ashton Agar and Swepson are there, Boland might also play, but that much might is not there. Neither Starc nor Hazlewood is available. I think Cameron Green is also not available for the first match,” he added.
