In a massive breaking news development, Team India are not playing left-handed opening batsman Ishan Kishan in the second ODI against Australia scheduled to be played at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. India will surely be feeling high on momentum after having pulled out an incredible 5-wicket victory in some challenging conditions against the Aussie team in the opening ODI match. India have now secured a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series.
After having missed the opening ODI game, Indian captain Rohit Sharma is back in the playing 11 for the 2nd ODI in Visakhapatnam against Australia. This means that Ishan Kishan will have to warm the bench in this IND vs AUS match. In the first ODI game against the Aussie side, Kishan failed to contribute much with the bat as he was dismissed LBW at the hands of right-arm seamer Marcus Stoinis after scoring just 3 runs off 8 deliveries. The southpaw has not been able to score much of runs after that maiden double hundred in the last ODI in Bangladesh. On the other hand, Rohit looked in a fine form during the Test series and also scored a hundred in his last ODI innings against New Zealand. Just like the first game, KL Rahul will be the wicket-keeper in this India vs Australia 2nd ODI.
