Kuldeep Yadav IND vs AUS: In an important news update, India have once again left out left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav from the playing XI for this fourth Test match against Australia being hosted at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Things did not worked out in an ideal manner for the Indian team during the recent third Test match where they suffered a poor 9-wicket defeat at the hands of the visiting Aussie side. However, India still have a lead of 2-1 in this Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 four-match Test series.

At the toss, Indian captain Rohit Sharma noted that they are once again playing the same spin bowling combination in this last Test match against Australia that has played the series so far. The hosts started this Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 with the spin trio of Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel. Jadeja and Ashwin have together ended up taking as many as 40 wickets in the three Test matches and Axar’s valuable 185 runs have forced India to do away from left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav. Incidentally, after picking up a stunning six-wicket haul during the first Test in Bangladesh, Kuldeep has stayed on the bench for as many as five consecutive Test matches.
