Suryakumar Yadav IND vs AUS: The crucial news update coming from the Indian camp is that talented batsman Suryakumar Yadav is not playing the 4th Test match against Australia scheduled to be hosted at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India ended up suffering a poor 9-wicket loss during the third Test match against Australia in some challenging conditions in Indore. However, the hosts still have a lead of 2-1 in the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 four-match Test series.
During the toss, Indian captain Rohit Sharma mentioned that they have made no changes to their batting line-up from the last game against Australia. This also means that Suryakumar Yadav will remain on the bench for the third consecutive Test match of this four-match Test series. After making his Test debut in Nagpur, Suryakumar managed to score just 8 runs in his only inning and then he was replaced by Shreyas Iyer from the second Test match onwards. On the other hand, Iyer’s scores in this series so far are 4, 12, 0 and 26, but he has been a consistent run-scorer for the Indian team across the three formats of the game in the last couple of years.
