IND vs ENG Dream11

India and England produced an absolute thriller on Thursday at the Narendra Modi Stadium where eventually the hosts held their nerves to clinch a superb 8-run win in the 4th India vs England T20I match. Suryakumar Yadav played an outstanding knock of 57 runs off 31 balls in his debut innings at the international stage after which the pace duo of Shardul Thakur and Hardik Pandya bowled brilliantly well to restrict England to 177/8. With India’s amazing win, the blockbuster IND vs ENG five-match T20I series between two heavyweight teams is beautifully poised at 2-2 before the series deciding 5th T20I on March 20.

India vs England: Ben Stokes gets frustrated after getting dismissed

During the chase in the 4th T20I, India was in control of the game having seen the back of England’s in-form top-order in Jos Buttler, Jason Roy and Dawid Malan. However, the pair of Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes then batted extremely well adding an excellent partnership of 65 runs off just 36 balls to put the pressure back on the hosts. Stokes was hitting the ball really well during his impressive innings of 46 runs off just 23 balls but India came back strongly in the game by removing both the set batters in quick time.

After Rahul Chahar broke the big partnership by dismissing Bairstow, Thakur bowled a lovely slower delivery to send back Stokes. The England all-rounder was also seen venting out his frustration on getting dismissed at the penultimate stage of the game. On the very next delivery, England captain Eoin Morgan was also dismissed by Thakur which shifted the game in India’s favour.

Will England be tempted to play Moeen Ali in the 5th T20I?

Unlike India, the visiting England team has not made many changes to their playing XI in this series so far. However, it will be interesting to see whether captain Eoin Morgan chooses to bring Moeen Ali as the extra spin bowling option in place of Sam Curran in the team for the fifth and final T20I match. Moeen’s addition will also give England some good depth in the batting department.
