Former India cricketer Wasim Jaffer is known for his hilarious social media posts and now he has come up with hilarious tweet as Washington Sundar was left stranded on 96 not out in the India’s first innings in the IND vs ENG fourth Test.
In India’s first innings during the fourth India vs England Test, Washinton Sundar played a gem of an innings as he saved India’s precarious situation. He scored hundred-run partnerships with Rishabh Pant and Axar Patel and helped India get the crucial first-innings lead.
But just when the left-hander looked set to get his maiden hundred, India’s innings imploded. On the last ball of the 114th over, Axar Patel was run-out which brought Ishant Sharma to the crease.
However, England al-rounder Ben Stokes trapped Sharma in front of the wickets on the first ball of the next over. Then walked Mohammad Siraj to the crease with five balls to survive. Siraj somehow managed to survive dodge two balls, but lost his off-stump on the fourth ball of the innings.
Sundar remained not-out on 96 as India lost their last 3 wickets in just 5 balls. Based on the failure of the last three men to give Sundar a chance to complete his hundred, W Jaffer posted a hiliarous tweet.

Meanwhile, courtesy of Sundar’s fantastic knock of 96 not out and a sensation century from Rishabh Pant, India scored 365 runs in the first innings and got a crucial lead of 160 runs.
Considering the detoriating condition of the pitch and quality of India’s spinners, the hosts England are in a massive trouble in the fourth England vs India Test.
