It has been a dreadful last two weeks for South Africa in India, and it is getting worse. With Team India on song and injuries in the SA camp, the chances of a fair contest appear bleak for the third and final Test at Ranchi.
Ravichandran Ashwin: The off-spinner has bagged eight in the first test and six in the second. With Ranchi offering better purchase, Ashwin can turn out to be SA nemesis.
Ravindra Jadeja: ‘They hunt in pairs' and rightly so. Ravindra Jadeja is Ashwin's partner in crime and never lets batsmen off the hook in home conditions. The left-arm spinner has 10 scalps from the first two outings in the series. And, the runs he scores lower down the order is added bonus.
Virat Kohli: Everyone from openers, Mayank Agarwal and Rohit Sharma to Cheteshwar Pujara, all Indian batsmen have looked at ease and have made SA pay. But, it is the World No. 2 batsman and Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who is the most reliable bet among batsmen from either camp.
