Shivam Mavi debut IND vs SL: In a big breaking news update, right-arm pacer Shivam Mavi is all set to make his India debut in the first T20I encounter against Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. After not having won the last two editions of the T20 World Cup, the Indian team management and selectors have decided to take some bold decisions and give opportunities to some youngsters in this three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka.
In a really proud moment, Indian captain Hardik Pandya awarded young pacer Shivam Mavi with his debut T20I cap in the 1st game against Sri Lanka. During the last edition of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, the right-arm speedster bowled really well for Uttar Pradesh where he finished with a total of 14 wickets from 7 games at an average of 17.64. Mavi has also picked up 30 IPL wickets at an economy of less than 9. It will be a great opportunity for the young fast bowler to showcase his talent and skills at the biggest stage and seal his place in the Indian side for the long-run.
